How to cancel HBO Max
Sign in on the website and open your profile > Subscription. Choose Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription. If you pay through Apple, Google, Amazon or a cable provider, cancel with them instead. Access continues to the end of the billing period.

Cancelled and still charged?
Then the charge is not coming from HBO Max. Whoever took your money holds the subscription — if you subscribed inside an app, it is the app store, and only the app store can stop it.
