Step by step

  1. 1Sign in at ft.com and open Account settings > Manage subscription.
  2. 2Choose Cancel subscription — the FT may route you to a chat.
  3. 3App store purchases are cancelled in the app store.
  4. 4Trial periods convert to a full-price subscription automatically.

Cancelled and still charged?

Then the charge is not coming from Financial Times. Whoever took your money holds the subscription — if you subscribed inside an app, it is the app store, and only the app store can stop it.

How to subscribe to Financial Times

For when you want it back — or want to start on the right plan this time.

  1. 1Go to ft.com and choose Standard Digital or Premium Digital.
  2. 2The trial converts at full price — note the date.
  3. 3Annual billing is cheaper than monthly.
  4. 4Student and professional group rates exist and are not shown on the main page.

And the rest of them?

Financial Times was one. Most people are paying for between eight and twelve things and can name four. TotalSubs puts them on one screen with one number, and warns you before the next one renews.
