What they’ll try when you cancel

Before it lets you cancel, Audible offers to pause the membership for one to three months, or drops the price for a few months. A pause is not a cancellation — billing restarts automatically when it ends, and unused credits still expire on their normal schedule.

Cancelled and still charged?

Then the charge is not coming from Audible. Whoever took your money holds the subscription — if you subscribed inside an app, it is the app store, and only the app store can stop it.

How to subscribe to Audible

For when you want it back — or want to start on the right plan this time.

  1. 1Go to audible.in or audible.com and choose a membership.
  2. 2Membership gives monthly credits plus a catalogue; the two are different things.
  3. 3Annual membership is cheaper per credit than monthly.
  4. 4The free trial includes credits — note the conversion date.

And the rest of them?

Audible was one. Most people are paying for between eight and twelve things and can name four. TotalSubs puts them on one screen with one number, and warns you before the next one renews.
