How to cancel ProtonVPN
Sign in at account.proton.me and open Subscription. Choose Cancel subscription — the plan runs to the end of the term. Proton Unlimited bundles VPN with Mail and Drive; if you hold that, cancelling VPN alone is not possible. App store purchases are cancelled in the app store.

Cancelled and still charged?
Then the charge is not coming from ProtonVPN. Whoever took your money holds the subscription — if you subscribed inside an app, it is the app store, and only the app store can stop it.
