How to cancel GitLab Premium

Free · no accountUpdated 20 August 2026

Sign in at gitlab.com and open your group > Settings > Billing. Choose Cancel subscription or let the term lapse without renewing. GitLab bills per seat annually for most plans — a mid-term cancellation usually still runs to the anniversary. Export anything you need before the plan drops.

Step by step

Cancelled and still charged?

Then the charge is not coming from GitLab Premium. Whoever took your money holds the subscription — if you subscribed inside an app, it is the app store, and only the app store can stop it.

And the rest of them?

GitLab Premium was one. Most people are paying for between eight and twelve things and can name four. TotalSubs puts them on one screen with one number, and warns you before the next one renews.
